Generally, meetings are held at the Scout Hut, which is located in Combe Lane

If a meeting is to be held elsewhere, for example, for a cookout or a trip to the swimming baths, you will normally be advised of the revised meeting arrangements at least the week before. Please contact the appropriate Section Leader for details of the time and the day on which the Section meets.

The members usually attend the Section meeting wearing their uniform. If there is a change to this, for example for an activity outdoors, you will normally be advised of the revised clothing requirements at least the week before

Wedmore Scout Group normally takes part in two parades and church services each year, which are attended in smart uniform. These are:

• Sedgemoor District St George’s Day – in April and normally held at Bridgwater.
• Remembrance Sunday – in November at St Mary’s Parish Church in Wedmore.

All members of the Group are expected to give propriety to taking part in these parades.
