Life’s and adventure - come and live it!

Scouts take part in lots of different activities. These might include camping, hiking, climbing or outdoor cooking on open fires. They also discover other countries and the people who live there. Whatever they do, it is the mix of exciting activities that make it Scouting.

You are normally in the Scouts  between the ages of 10½ and 14 years, however, there is some flexibility in these ages.

Westhay Clean-upAs a Scout you will earn badges and awards. You will also take part in lots of other things, such as expeditions, camps, special events or projects.

You might decide to help with a project in your local community, which helps the environment in which you live.

You can make a note of these achievements in your Scout Record Book, which you will get when you do the Membership Award.
