The general layout of the accommodation is shown below. The main hall, which  is approximately 14 X 6 metres, is bright and airy and is well lit. The floor of the hall is marked with lines, circles, etc. for playing games. Emergency lighting is installed.

The kitchen is fitted with an electric cooker, small fridge / freezer, a double stainless steel sink and is equipped with cooking utensils, etc. There is crockery and cutlery together with tables and chairs / benches to cater for 40 people.

Hot water is provided by an immersion heater. There are two unisex WC’s and two wash hand basins in the toilet. An outside tap is provided for washing off dirty clothing and boots.

There are no mattresses or bedding, nor is there separate accommodation for the adults or to separate the sexes. However, tents can be used in the grounds of the hut for adults and other sexes to sleep in (the quieter option!), if required. Alternatively, the hall is large enough for one end to be used by the younger members of the party and the other by the adults.
