Wedmore Beavers are reaching new heights
- why not jump aboard?
Beaver Scouts is open to girls and boys between the ages of 5¾ to 8 years - they meet together as a Colony where they sometimes work in small groups, called Lodges; and from time to time, go on special outings. Normally there are up to 24 Beavers, who meet weekly for about an hour, where they:
exploring their feelings and developing good habits of health and personal safety |
finding out about people in their family, the family of Scouting, the local community and the wider world |
discovering the exciting world of science, nature and technology, exploring the natural and man-made world |
growing in their love of God and responding to the needs of others, the local community and the wider world. |
from 5.30 pm to 6.30 pm at the Scout Hut.
Initially the Colony will be limited to 16 Beavers, until both the Beavers and Leaders have found their feet, but will be opened up to more young people later. For this reason, the oldest children on the waiting list will be invited first.
